ASA Run for the Warriors - San Diego

In an effort to support good health and wellness, ANESTHESIOLOGY 2010 and ASA, with the help of Hope for the Warriors®, are conducting a 5K run/walk along the San Diego harbor, Embarcadero and throughout San Diego. This special wellness event will unite annual meeting attendees, exhibitors, local San Diego residents, and military personnel in an effort to support our wounded warriors and their families.
The mission of Hope for the Warriors® is to enhance quality of life for U.S. service members and their families nationwide who have been adversely affected by injuries or death in the line of duty. Hope for the Warriors® actively seeks to ensure that the sacrifices of wounded and fallen warriors and their families are never forgotten nor their needs unmet.
The run/walk is a unique event dedicated to the men and women wounded in the global war on terror and their families. It is a celebration of their strength and resolve as well as a “welcome home” that they might not have received. This event embraces wounded warriors and their families in the shared belief that there is hope beyond recovery.
